Whether you loved or hated the most recent trailer, nothing will change the fact that “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is one of the most anticipated movies of 2016. Bring together two titans like Batman and Superman, and there is virtually no way you can fail. As such, it’s no surprise that this will usher in a whole new line of toys for toy companies worldwide. And now, Hot Toys has just revealed their new Batman and Superman figures (via Coming Soon).

Clearly, these figures are movie-accurate ones, and both superheroes also come with interchangeable parts, accessories, and a “Batman v Superman”-themed stand.

“Special editions of both figures will be available in select markets and will include an LED light-up Kryptonite accessory for Superman and a sniper rifle bonus accessory for Batman. In addition, customers that pre-order both of the figures at the same time will receive the Batman Tech Cowl as bonus accessory.”

You heard that right, folks. Batman will indeed be wielding a sniper rifle. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Caped Crusader packing heat in “Batman v Superman.” If you’ll recall, he was holding what looked like a shotgun of some sort at the end of the most recent trailer. Sounds to me like this version of Batman is a bit more gun-crazy than we’re used to. Of course, we have no way of knowing if these “guns” are actually of the lethal nature, but either way, they make interesting eye candy.

Anyway, back to the toys!

Apart from the two supers, Hot Toys also released a video detailing the new Batmobile, and from the looks of it, you can actually have Superman rip off the doors of the vehicle, just like in the trailer! Count me intrigued. 

The synopsis for “Batman v Superman” is as follows:

“Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
