Batwoman Series For The CW Being Called ‘A Lock’

Last December The CW’s Arrowverse gave us their annual crossover event called Elseworlds, that brought together The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl. During the second episode of that event or heroes travel to Gotham City for the first time. It is here where we got the highly anticipated debut of Ruby Rose as Kate Kate aka Batwoman.

Since then fans have been waiting for a confirmation of her own series. While we still don’t have the official word from The CW there are other clues that hint that the series may be a lock. A report from Deadline they call Pilot Panic states that not only is the series considered a lock for The CW but that it also has a writing staff in place.

It shouldn’t come too much of a surprise as there has already been a lot of positive buzz on the pilot episode. A sort of confirmation has also already came from the fact that Batwoman has been confirmed to play a role in the next Arrowverse crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Joining Rose on Batwoman will be Meagan Tandy as Sophie Moore, Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox, Dougray Scott as Colonel Jacob Kane, Elizabeth Anweis as Catherine Hamilton-Kane, Nicole Kangas as Mary Hamilton and Rachel Skarsten as Red Alice.
