We know Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will feature an MCU debut for a certain Mr. Murray. However Bill Murray’s role in Quantumania is now rumored by the folks over at The Illuminerdi. They have heard some talk about what Murray’s role could be in the threequel and they are kinda surprising and yet not surprising for Murray or Marvel at the same time.
As always, keep a handy dose of salt for this until we get further confirmation.
From the rumors we’ve been hearing it seems like Murray may be playing a character named Krylar from the Microverse planet K’ai. Krylar only appeared in one 1962 comic, The Incredible Hulk #156. Krylar is part of the K’aitian race which the Hulk came across when he landed on their fantastical Microverse planet K’ai. K’ai is inhabited by green skin and primarily blonde people and while the planet appears primitive it utilizes long forgotten technology and sorcery. The most well-known inhabitant of this Microverse planet is Princess Jarella who had a relationship with Hulk after he landed on the Microverse planet.
This does sound absolutely plausible. It would make sense for Murray to be in more of a one and done kinda role in this movie. I guess this is quite the shift from the only other rumors I’ve heard about Murray. That unsubstantiated rumor was that he would be playing the father of Scott Lang. That always had the feeling of a fan theory to me. For a start I could never find where it actually spawned from. Therefore this is the first proper rumor of Bill Murray’s role in Quantumania we have had.

Given the title, and a few teases from those involved, it seems like this threequel will see the Ant-Gang travel once more into the mysteries of the Quantum Realm.
