The Bill and Ted movies were an iconic part of my youth. At the same time, I don’t quite have the same love for them I once did. Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey were very much of their time. As a teenager I thought them the antithesis of cool, but watching back now, I find my mind wandering and my humor bone not being as tickled as it once was. However, as we grow our taste in movies does sometimes change along with us.
After years of rumors and false starts we are finally getting a third Bill and Ted movie. Bill and Ted Face the Music is a go and both Alex Winter and now mega star Keanu Reeves are returning to their iconic roles. There are also rumours of William Sadler’s Death coming back to aid Bill and Ted once more, but those remain rumours for now.

Now we have a date when filming is due to begin on the threequel, Omega Underground reports that filming will commence on January 10, 2019. It will be directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) however, as of yet we do not have a release date. If the movie shoot doesn’t begin till January 10, one would assume the earliest we would see this hit theaters would be Fall 2019, but don’t bank on that.
