My favorite superhero show on The CW is without a doubt Black Lightning which stars Cress Williams, Nafessa Williams, China Anna McClain, James Remar, Damon Gupton, Christine Adama, Marvin Jones III, and Jordan Calloway. Over the weekend the premiere date for their third season was also moved up to Monday, October 7th at 9pm. The decision to keep it away from the other Arrowverse shows was a good one due to the themes and tone of the series, but it looks like at least for a few days there will be an exception.

As first reported by Deadline, it was unveiled on Sunday during The CW’s TCA session that characters from Black Lightning will be joining other fellow superheroes for the first time ever in this year’s five-episode crossover event titled, Crisis on Infinite Earths that takes place this December.

This is setting up to be quite the massive event for The CW and the Arrowverse as we know that this will probably have some serious implications for Arrow. Not to mention the fact that they are bringing in some well know actors from other DC properties, for example, Brandon Routh will be reprising his role as Superman for the event. Also, the huge announcement that Kevin Conroy will be playing an older Bruce Wayne along with Burt Ward as an older Robin.

With already all the characters from the others series like Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and even Batwoman. The addition of the characters of Black Lightning and surprise guests is going to make Crisis on Infinite Earths that much better.
