It’s hard to believe that Netflix’s satirical anthology series by Charlie Brooker has been around now for over a decade. Let alone that soon we will be getting a sixth season on the streaming service. For years now the twisted stories have got our brains turning as we are presented with what sometimes seem simple stories that end up downright disturbing.
This week Netflix gave us our first look at the sixth season of “Black Mirror”. It is set to debut on June 15 with five episodes. You can check out the trailer as well as the episode descriptions below.
The story that intrigued me the most was the main one focused on in the trailer titled “Joan is Awful”. We so often are glued to our screens watching and criticizing the lives of so many people that either did great things or bad ones. The question becomes, what happens if our lives then become a series for others to analyze us? It’s a terrifying thought. Also, who would we want to portray us? It’s our life, to live not someone else’s to make a series about… right?
Here are the episode titles and a brief description for the five episodes of season six of “Black Mirror”.
