Black Panther Debuts Amazing Artwork Poster

Dolby Cinema has just taken to Twitter to reveal an exclusive piece of artwork for Marvel Studios’ upcoming film, Black Panther.

Take a look at the poster down below!

As you can see, this is a pretty damn cool water-color-inspired take on the character. With that sort of amorphous look, it also helps to sell the stealth nature of the character. As we saw in that very first teaser, at least one scene in the film will have him blending in with the dark background as he’s taking on foes, and this watercolor makes him look almost as though he’s appearing out of nowhere.

When all said and done, I think it may be the single most effective poster we’ve had of the film yet — at least from my perspective.

Below is the official synopsis for Black Panther:

“After the death of his father, T’Challa returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king — and as Black Panther — gets tested when he’s drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people.”
