We still know very little about the upcoming Black Widow movie, in fact, it’s still not been officially announced as existing. But of course, we know fine well they are filming the movie right now. It is assumed that as Black Widow is the only MCU movie currently in principal photography, this will take that May 1, 2020, slot in Marvel’s next slate of movies, but again that is in no way confirmed, it just makes logical sense.

It has been rumored that the movie will be set sometime in between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, but again that’s just rumor for now. It does seem less likely that this would be a period piece set before Widow’s turn towards the good side when she was an assassin for the KGB, though it is thought the films could feature some flashbacks to that former life, even if it has a more contemporary setting for the main plot.

Today we can share some new set photos for the movie (which doesn’t officially exist yet) thanks to @BlackWidow_Film. The images don’t really tell us much about the movie and seem to feature Nat either walking or possibly jogging through a woodland area with earphones, maybe doing some training. Check it out.

As said, there isn’t much we can speculate upon from these photos other than the fact it appears there is a scene of Nat walking or jogging through a woodland area listening to some mad beats. For all we know this could end up being an action scene with antagonists coming after Widow, or it could be a quiet moment of reflection. Actually, this could be the perfect moment to flashback to a period in Widow’s past IF we are indeed getting some flashbacks.

Yeah, it’s not the most exciting set photos we have shared here, but it’s still something right? If nothing else, it confirms that this currently non-existent movie is really filming right now. My one hope for this movie is that this will somehow link into to The Eternals, given that the likely villain of that movie Druig has connections in the comics to the KGB, whom Nat used to work for. It has been rumored recently that Marvel is trying to court Keanu Reeves for the role of Druig, so maybe it is unlikely he makes an appearance in this movie. Though, who wouldn’t want to see a bit of John Wick vs Black Widow eh?
