Bloody Hell reveals that there’s no escaping a man’s personal hell—only to enter a different level of hell altogether.
The Australian horror film stars Ben O’Toole (Hacksaw Ridge, Detroit) as Rex, a man who couldn’t handle the publicity after being a hero at a bank robbery. After a mental breakdown, he flees the country to escape his personal hell—only to arrive somewhere much, much, much worse.
The cast also includes Caroline Craig (Blue Heelers, Underbelly), Matthew Sutherland (Out of the Blue, The Lost City of Z), Travis Jeffery (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Unbroken), Jack Finsterer (Blue Heelers), Meg Fraser (Leech), and Ashlee Lollback (Don’t Tell, Space/Time). Alister Grierson (Bomb) directed the film from the script written by Robert Benjamin (Welcome to Acapulco).
“What would happen if a character like John Wick walked into the home of a deranged family with dark secrets? This film aims to show audiences that exact answer on a unique ride like no other of its kind. The film starts with a bang, a few bangs actually…quite literally, then keeps the twists and turns coming. Hopefully, audiences have strapped themselves in and are ready for a ride, because if not…they are going to be thrown from their seats,” said producers Brett Thornquest and Joshua Paul in the film’s initial press release.
