Spontaneous Trailer Shows An Explosive (Quite Literally) Comedy With Katherine Langford

Spontaneous is very self-explanatory. It’s about people who spontaneously combust.

In this romantic comedy, it stars Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why, Cursed), Yvonne Orji (Insecure), Charlie Plummer (Words on Bathroom Walls, Looking for Alaska), Hayley Law (Altered Carbon, Riverdale), and Piper Perabo (Turn Up Charlie, Covert Affairs). Brian Duffield wrote and directed the movie. It is Duffield’s directorial debut, and he previously wrote big-name movies like The Divergent Series: Insurgent and Jane Got a Gun.

Here’s the synopsis:

When students in their high school begin inexplicably exploding (literally…), seniors Mara (Langford) and Dylan (Plummer) struggle to survive in a world where each moment may be their last. As unexpected romance blossoms between them, Mara and Dylan discover that when tomorrow is no longer promised, they can finally start living for today.
