Bob Odenkirk Rushed To Hospital On Better Call Saul Shoot

Better Call Saul Is The Last In The Breaking Bad Universe Says Vince Gilligan

As reported by Deadline, Bob Odenkirk rushed to hospital after collapsing whilst shooting Better Call Saul. The shoot is taking place in New Mexico right now for the final season of the critically acclaimed show. Odenkirk is of course the primary lead in Better Call Saul, though I always think of the show as amore of an ensemble piece.

Deadline said the following.

The 58-year-old Odenkirk fell to the ground and was rushed to the hospital, where he remains. His actual condition is unknown.

I’m sure I speak for many fans when I say that we hope this is nothing serious and Odenkirk is going to be ok. I’m a huge fan of Odenkirk as an actor and it feels like he is starting to really get the recognition he deserves. Odenkirk’s performance as Jimmy McGill, aka Saul Goodman is phenomenal thus far.

So far there is no update from the creator, or the studio. Therefore it is currently unknown what kind of affect this will have on the filming of the final season, currently aimed for a release in the first quarter of 2022.

Of course right now primary concerns is Odenkirk’s health. I just hope this is something normal, like New Mexico being too damn warm and he was dehydrated or something easily rectified. So until we hear news that Odenkirk is ok, the status of the show kinda takes a back seat. Those in charge of production will already have an idea of how serious this is so they can plan accordingly. However, let’s hope we get news later today that Odenkirk is back out of hospital and there is nothing serious.

Get well soon Bob, and get back to entertaining your fans in one of the greatest TV shows ever made. Any thoughts or well wishes on the news Bob Odenkirk rushed to hospital, leave them below.
