Bond 25: Daniel Craig Should Return To Set ‘Within The Week’

Earlier this week, it was reported that Daniel Craig was injured while on the set of Bond 25 while filming in Jamaica. The specifics behind his scene weren’t known, but he reportedly fell awkwardly while running and ended up hurting his ankle. The actor was then flown back to the United States to received X-rays, delaying the production of the film indefinitely. Of course, the question on everyone’s head was: “How long will the filming be delayed?”

Well, it sounds like James Bond will be back on his feet sooner rather than later. Variety is reporting that Craig is expected to return to production “within the week.” While he will be returning soon, it does sound like the injury is causing him a bit of pain, and that they will be making efforts to make sure his injury isn’t aggravated.

“Things were deemed to be a disaster at first,” a source told the outlet. “But the injury is not as severe as believed, and he will be able to film while not over-exerting his ankle. He will be back on set within the week.”

Assuming nothing else goes wrong, it seems likely no further delay in the release date will be needed. Given the development history of this project and the departure of previous director Danny Boyle, I’m sure that’s great news for the producers of the movie.
