The Screen Junkies have returned with another roasting of a film that I’m sure is beloved to many, Batman Returns. Having said that, I wouldn’t really say I am one of those many. While the first effort from Tim Burton and Michael Keaton was solid and showed us the potential of a big screen Caped Crusader.
The sequel seemed cluttered and I think there was just too much of Tim Burton’s uniqueness in the film.D anny DeVito’s Penguin was simply too grotesque for my tastes, and overall the film just wasn’t on the same level in my opinion. My feeling on the film aside, at least it didn’t nipples on the Batsuit or a Bat credit card. Another fine entry into the Honest Trailer series, Oh, and, Cat Scratch Pfeiffer? How great is that?
