Brad Pitt Says The Ending Of Se7en Left A Test Screen Audience Speechless

One of the best films of, well, all-time, Se7en, apparently left an audience during a test screening of the film speechless and likely shocked. This information comes from Brad Pitt, who starred in the film alongside Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Spacey.

The actor recently appeared on Mark Maron’s WTF Podcast and said the ending of the film left the viewers with a loss for words. You can check out exactly what he had to say below.

“OK if you remember, the movie ends, they flick on the lights and I look at people. And they just kind of slowly get up from their seats and no one’s talking. Then, they just kind of disappear from the screening. I remember just looking at Fincher and going, ‘Oh my god, what the fuck did we do? What happened. What’s going? I thought this shit was great.”

If you have seen the film you of course know what caused this reaction and if you haven’t seen the film someone should probably chop off your head and put it in a box. The film went against the grain with its dark ending during a time period were most films, even crime thrillers, had a mostly happy ending.
