Buffy the Vampire Slayer was released in 1992 and stars Kristy Swanson, Donald Sutherland, and Paul Reubens. In the film, Buffy (Swanson) learns she is the latest in a long line of supernaturally-powered vampire slayers. Her watcher (Sutherland) trains her to fight the forces of evil.
