Build-A-Bear Released Beetlejuice As An Online Exclusive

Beetlejuice 2 news as the recently announced movie sets a release date. Plus we have some cast news and Tim Burton's return to discuss.

I’ll admit it. Beetlejuice is one of the many movies I didn’t get to watch until I was an adult. I had a lot of catching up to do with horror and dark comedies and this comedy is amazing. Just in time for Halloween, Build-A-Bear has released a Beetlejuice bear as an online exclusive. He’s so cute! I don’t trust him already!

Say It Once, Say It Twice, Third Time’s A Charm!

The spirit-for-hire (but don’t!) is a white bear with bright green hair, yellow eyes, and sketchy smile. Beetlejuice, of course, comes with his black and white striped suit. Also, his bottom paw pads have the character’s face on one paw and the movie’s logo on the other. The bear has a sound chip that comes with 6 sounds and is $52.00. Build-A-Bear has a 4 limit per costumer.

Directed by Tim Burton, the movie was released in 1988 and stars Michael Keaton as Betelgeuse. Also starring is Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin and Winona Rider as Barbara and Adam Maitland and Lydia Deetz. Beetlejuice is such a great movie. Watching Adam and Barbara try to be scary and seeing the Deetz’s terrifying taste in design is pretty hilarious. Although it might be a darker comedy than you remember so your little ones may not be ready to see it just yet.

What do you think of Build-A-Bear’s new bear, Beetlejuice? Let me know in the comments, just don’t say his name 3 times.
