All is possible with the right attitude and determination. So is the case with the amazing people that run the Gibbon Conservation Center in Santa Clarita, California. They are a non-profit center that promotes the conservation, study, and care of gibbons. To showcase the amazing work that they do as well as the personalities of the Gibbons, next week they will release a new documentary titled The Center: Gibbons and Guardians.
In this documentary, we meet the team of the gibbon center led by Gabriella Skollar, MS. The Center: Gibbons and Guardians also include an interview with Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE. She is the founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace. The people in this documentary have dedicated their lives to the conservation and study of these endangered apes.
But the true stars of the documentary are the gibbons themselves. Each of them with a unique personality that brings all kinds of angles to the story. Including love triangles. It’s interesting to see how each of the gibbons reacts differently to the staff. By the end of the documentary, you can being to identify them as individuals instead of just apes.
