Burt Reynolds Did Not Shoot His Part In Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

Earlier this week, tragic news struck that Hollywood legend Burt Reynolds had passed away. The internet shared its support for the actor, telling stories of their favorite roles and memories of the man himself. But, as is usually the case, Reynolds’ passing left some unfinished business. As Deadline reports, the actor was not only fielding offers for other roles, but he was set to go in front of cameras in a couple weeks.

As many of you may know, Reynolds was one name in the long list of cast members on Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Hollywood tribute, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. In the film, which is set in La La Land in the summer of 1969, he was set to play rancher George Spahn.

Of course, at the end of the day, his role in a movie is nothing compared to the loss of a human life, but on the heels of his passing, many were wondering if we would, in fact, get to see him in one last role. Sadly, that doesn’t look to be the case.

Who will Tarantino select to take his place as George Spahn? We’ll have to wait and see, but if they plan on keeping the schedule, they’ll have to act quick, and it’s not exactly easy to replace someone like Reynolds.

Any thoughts on who should replace him in the role? Let us know down below!
