We’ve shared some rumors this was the case ourselves in the preceding weeks. Now it’s official though, Captain America: New World Order gets a title change to Captain America: Brave New World. We don’t really have much information about the reason for this title change, perhaps it’s story centric. Alternatively Disney may have been worried about certain connotations applied to New World Order in the past reality.
The news was broken by the movie’s star Anthony Mackie who plays Sam Wilson (Captain America). Mackie posted an image on Instagram showing he and co-star on this picture Harrison Ford in a BTS shot. The pair are at a chair which has the title Captain America: Brave New World. Most likely this is confirmation of the rumors we heard. Captain America: Brave New World is scheduled for release on May 3rd of 2024. As you can see, the movie is still in principal photography, and after that it will go into post. You’ll be seeing a trailer I’d guess before we get to 2024. Captain America: Brave New World will also feature the return of The Leader, aka Samuel Sterns from The Incredible Hulk, alongside some otehr familar faces. Ford will take over the role of Thaddeus Ross, now President of the United States in the movie
