As we get closer and closer to the end of the final fifth season of FX’s “Mayans M.C.” the stakes are getting higher and higher. To the point where some people will not survive. For some characters, ghosts of the past are returning to haunt them and collect their bounty. The moral of the story so far? Very simple, there are consequences to your actions.
One of the spotlights of this episode was Carla Baratta’s Adelita. When we first met her in season one of “Mayan’s M.C.” as the leader of Los Olvidados. She goes from fighting the cartel to joining them. By the time we get to this season of the series, Adelita is trying to balance being a mother and still working for a cartel. In the end, she ended up having to deal with the consequences of becoming the very thing she was trying to fight.

With the shocking events of the latest episode of “Mayans M.C.”, LRM Online‘s Manny Gomez spoke with actress Carla Baratta. During our conversation, we talked about how she felt about the way her character met her demise in the series and how it was shooting that tragic scene.

Mayans M.C. follows the life of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo), president of the Mayans M.C. charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Once a golden boy with the American Dream in his grasp, EZ has now risen to lead his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas) and the Santo Padre M.C. in a bloody war against their rival Sons of Anarchy. Defending the California territory and patch begins to claim lives within the club and causes strain between EZ and Angel — as one brother devotes himself to the club and the other to family. Felipe (Edward James Olmos) attempts to heal these fractured bonds for the future of the Reyes family.
