Carlton Cuse And Son Nick Developing Mysterious Star Wars TV Series | Barside Buzz

According to some new Barside Buzz, Carlton Cuse and his son Nick are developing a mysterious new Star Wars series.

According to some new Barside Buzz, Carlton Cuse and his son Nick are developing a mysterious new Star Wars series. The information comes from Jeff Sneider in his The Insneider website.

Here’s what Jeff had to say,

‘Carlton Cuse, one of the masterminds behind ABC’s hit series Lost, has been tapped to write a new Star Wars series alongside his son, Nick Cuse, I can exclusively report.’

‘Plot details regarding Lucasfilm’s new Disney+ series are being kept under wraps, so I don’t know if it’s about a new character or an old one, nor do I know when this series will take place in the Star Wars timeline.’

‘However, it’s clear that Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy is enamored with the brain trust behind Lost.’

As a fan of Lost, (No, they were  not all dead, that’s an internet myth) I hope this means something, more adult. With Andor Season 2 upon us, but also ending, there’s a hole to fill for a more mature Star Wars drama. Does that mean this is what the Cuse’s have been tapped to write? Nope, but a man can dream right?

The point is we know absolutley nothing about this yet. So there’s not much we can speculate upon. I do think this is legit. Sneider has been right too many times with Star Wars over the last couple years. However, as we know with early rumors like this, it might not come to anything. Maybe in a year we hear someone else is now writing it, or we get a few details? Or, it could be in production in a year or so time.

What do you think of this rumor that Carlton Cuse and his son Nick are developing a mysterious new Star Wars series? Thoughts below as always.
