We know that Eternals will be one of the next slate of Marvel movies after this current phase ends with Avengers: Endgame in now only a few days’ time. So far we know Spider-Man: Far From Home, Black Widow, And Eternals are moving ahead, we also think Doctor Strange 2 and Shang-Chi are both coming soon. Which of these movies will release in 2020 and which in 2021 though remains unclear.
The one we feel is farthest along is Black Widow as much of the cast has already been officially announced, but we also think Eternals must be moving along as we keep hearing casting rumors, even if nothing official. The last ‘big’ rumor was that Angelina Jolie was in talks to play the role of Sersi in Eternals, now we have a new rumoured piece of casting news to add.

According to The Wrap, their sources says that South Korean actor Ma Dong-seok is in talks to appear in his first English language movie for Marvel. The role itself is being kept under wraps for now, and this will likely remain so for some time, even after the cast solidifies and becomes official. Dong-seok made his breakthrough in South Korean Zombie movie Train to Busan, but as said this would be his first English language movie.
Eternals we already know will be helmed by Chloe Zhao (The Rider) from a script by Matthew and Ryan Firpo (Ruin) and of course, producing as always with Marvel is the man himself Kevin Feige. We have no official word on a release date, but I have a feeling this might be the final movie of 2020 as it seems much farther along than Doctor Strange 2 or Shang-Chi, that we know of anyway?
