Castlevania Season 2 Poster: Blood Will Seek Blood

As we saw in the first season of Castlevania, Dracula ain’t too happy. After perhaps turning to a life of peace and happiness, humans took away his one true love, leaving him cold and embittered. As such, the vampire is dead-set on getting his revenge on the world, and there are only three people who stand in his way.

This is pretty much conveyed perfectly in the new poster for Season 2 of Castlevania. In it, we see Trevor Belmont, Alucard (Dracula’s son), and Sypha Belnades. All of them are shown in front of Dracula’s iconic (and structurally unsound) castle, which looks ready to topple over at any moment (I’d have it no other way).

While the second season is going to be the next thing audiences can look forward to, we will also be getting a third season, which was given the go-ahead by Netflix some time ago. Unlike its predecessor, which only lasted four episodes, this second season will be eight seasons in length, which will give them much more time for action, scope, and much-needed character development.

While I did enjoy that first season, it did feel a bit hollow, and I chalk that up to its short runtime, which left little room to actually delve into the characters.
