Today we have the latest Blade casting to share plus a report that says Chameleon cast for Kraven the Hunter. Both of these reports come from Deadline, so let’s go through them one at a time. First of all, Blade. Deadline reports that Krypton actor Aaron Pierre has been cast alongside Mahershala Ali in the upcoming Blade movie for the MCU. Currently details on the role are unknown and as you’d guess Marvel never gave any comments on the story.
Ali has kinda made his first appearance as Blade already within the post-credit scene of Eternals. Though it was only his voice we heard. Will it be the Blade movie before we see what Ali will look like in the role? That post-credit scene also hints that Blade will feature Dane Whitman (Kit Harrington) once more, possibly with him becoming the Black Knight? However we cannot say for certain, but there are a few rumors to that affect.

As for the second piece of casting news, Deadline reports that Chameleon cast for Kraven the Hunter coming from Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. According to the trade White Lotus star Fred Hechinger will play Chameleon, another famous Spider-Man villain and brother of Kraven. Again not much is known about the plot of Sony’s Kraven, but we do know the lead will be former MCU star Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
I have not seen either actor, so cannot comment much about them. Being a Sony movie I simply assume Sony will mess Kraven up. Equally, being an MCU movie, I have faith Marvel Studios will get Blade right. That’s based purely on most recent output. Currently I see no reason to suddenly doubt the latter or get hyped for the former.
