Character Posters for S3 of Disney+’s The Mandalorian Brings Back Familiar Faces

According to a new rumor, and our own sources here at LRM, the rumored Mando Season 4 movie is not the current plan at Lucasfilm.

Star Wars fans are itching for announcements of new films, but they’ll have to settle with the upcoming season three of Disney+’s The Mandalorian.

After the recent carpet in London for the series, the studio released new character posters to market the one-week countdown to the new series.

Disappointedly and wisely, no new faces are part of these character posters. Perhaps more character posters are on the way?

For now, the character posters are of the familiar faces from the past series that includes The Mandalorian with Grogu, Greef Karga, and Bo-Katan.

The series stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow, and Giancarlo Esposito. The directors of the eight-episode season include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey, and Bryce Dallas Howard. John Favreau is the showrunner and head writer.

Here is the brief description of the season three of The Mandalorian:

The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.
