With the Nordic streaming platform Viaplay launched this week, Nordic films and television often is known for their crime drama and conspiracy plots. With its original series Threesome, the streaming service offers something entirely different on screen in this dramatic series about sex and relationships.

The series stars Matilda Källström and Simon Lööf in this steamy drama that turned a couple’s relationship upside down after a one-night stand for a threesome.

Here is the official description:

Stylish and provocative young adult drama about a Swedish couple living in London. David (Simon Lööf) and Siri (Matilda Källström) meet French art student Camille (Alma Jodorowsky, Blue is the Warmest Colour) during a night out, leading to a threesome that irrevocably changes their relationship.

The series also co-stars Lucien Laviscount (Emily in Paris).

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with the lead actress Matilda Källström on the series and the threesome taboo.

For Matilda Källström, this is her first lead role in a series. She appeared in the short films Say Something and Molly. She had roles in the series Solsidan, Likea, and Love & Anarchy on television.

Threesome is currently streaming on the Viaplay platform.
