Today, Marvel Studios released the highly anticipated teaser trailer and poster for their upcoming film, “Captain America: Brave New World.” The movie features Anthony Mackie stepping into the role of Captain America, a mantle his character, The Falcon, assumed in the finale of Disney+’s “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” back in 2021.
The storyline kicks off with Sam Wilson, played by Mackie, meeting the newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross. This role marks the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of legendary actor Harrison Ford. In an intense turn of events, Sam quickly finds himself embroiled in an international incident, thrusting him into a race against time to uncover the dark motives behind a global conspiracy. The teaser hints at a gripping plot where Sam must thwart the true mastermind’s plans before the entire world plunges into chaos.

The film boasts a cast, including Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford. Directed by Julius Onah and produced by Marvel stalwarts Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, “Captain America: Brave New World” promises to be a thrilling addition to the MCU. Executive producers Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth also bring their expertise to the project.
