A new TV spot for Mave’s very intriguing series WandaVision has been released. The series is set to debut on Disney Plus January 15. WandaVision puts Wanda Maximoff, better known as Scarlett Witch and Vision in a reality very much like the sitcoms of the 1950s such as I Love Lucy. At least that’s where it begins.

The series appears to move through decades of television with homages to sitcoms like Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, and so on and so forth up until modern day. With flashes of their actual reality happening from time to time. The characters begin to realize something just isn’t right. You can check out the TV spot below.

This is certainly a clever idea to throw into the Marvel mix. This nostalgic mystery like never before surely has my attention. It appears as if a very powerful being has trapped the two in an alternate reality. And either the being’s power is fading or Wanda and Vision questioning their existence in this world is weakening it.

Whatever the case may be I am quite interested in this series and will be checking it out the first chance I get which will be in roughly two weeks. The series will be, at the very least, something different for the superhero genre. And while the big-screen MCU continues, the focus of many fans may switch to the small screen.
