What better day to kick off the social media page for Netflix’s new dark and eerie series than Friday the 13th?
Today, the Instagram account for Netflix’s Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina went live, featuring different artwork by artist Robert Hack from the comic book series (published by Archie Horror) as well as different still shots from the series. Also featured today was a special introduction from the cast of the series:
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, writer of both the comic book series and the Netflix series, shared some quick promotional material on his personal Instagram promoting the new account for the series:
Aguirre-Sacasa also has his hands in the CW series Riverdale as developer, writer and producer. It was originally believed that Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina would also be on the CW until Netflix picked it up for a 20-episode, 2-season block. After it was picked up an April, Aguirre-Sacasa made it clear that as of right now, a crossover with Riverdale is not on the production’s radar.
Aguirre-Sacasa has written for such shows as Supergirl, Looking, Glee, Big Love and wrote the screenplay for the 2013 remake of Carrie. Moreover, he has written for numerous titles at Marvel Comics and has published a number of theatrical plays.
Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina premieres on Netflix this fall.
