It won’t be long before we cinema scribes have are better off listing who is NOT in Kevin Smith’s reboot of his classic film Jay and Silent Bob. It seems everyday someone of note is joining the cast. Most recently it was rappers and actors Method Man and Redman, and yesterday (it was yesterday right? I better check that) Shannon Elizabeth,

Today Smith really beefs the film up by acquiring some muscle fin the form of professional wrestler Chris Jericho. I wonder who will be next to join this Gallery of Rogues? Only time will tell, until then you can check out the post from Kevin Smith’s Instagram account.

While I am more than familiar with who Jericho is, he was after my time as a wrestling fan. I just grew out of it before he made a name for himself. While most of his appeances on screen have been in the squared circle, Jericho has appeared in a few films including 2017’s Ride Along which starred Kevin Hart and Ice Cube as well joining Will Forte and Kristin Wiig in 2010’s McGyver parody MacGruber.

Smith’s reboot is shaping up to be something special with one of the more well-rounded, yet still sort of random cast of characters, but I like where it’s headed!
