Christian Bale Is NOT Playing Agger In Thor: Love And Thunder? | LRM’s Barside Buzz

A new rumor says Christian Bale is not playing Agger in Thor: Love and Thunder after all. When Christian Bale was announced as the antagonist of Thor: Love and Thunder, fans began speculating who he could be playing? The most popular theory was a villain known as Agger.

Regular scooper Charles Murphy has a good hit rate for Marvel scoops. This weekend Murphy posted on social media about what he has heard around Christian Bale. Murphy, (despite previously guessing at Agger) is now positive that Bale is not playing Agger. Murphy posted what he has been told about Bale’s villain and it hints at a non-human looking role. Agger was such a popular choice for Bale’s role because the actor looks very much like how the character was drawn.

As Murphy says, with this information, it seems logical to rule out Agger for now. Check it out.

Christian Bale is not playing Agger in Thor: Love and Thunder

That means the identity of Bale’s antagonist is still completely unknown. I also feel like this description is going to bring back the rumors that Bales is playing Beta Ray Bill. I’m confident in saying that is not the case for two reasons. Firstly, Beta Ray Bill is not a villain, and Bale’s role has only ever been reported as being the villain of the movie. The second reason comes from the words of director Taiki Waititi himself. Waititi has said he is not currently sure if he will find a place for Beta Ray Bill in Thor: Love and Thunder. If Waititi isn’t sure about Beta Ray Bill, then there is no Beta Ray Bale, as Bale is already signed up. No one signs Christian Bale up to a role that might get cut from the script, do they?

So let the speculation begin! If Christian Bale is not playing Agger in Thor: Love and Thunder, who is he playing? Thor has encountered a lot of enemies over the years. Agger was also such a popular guess because of his involvement with the Lady Thor storyline. Who could Bale be playing that would be the perfect villain for Thor: Love and Thunder? Leave your guesses and reasoning in the usual spot below if you have the time.
