Christian Bale would play Batman again. However before you get too excited about crossovers an BatVerses Bale stressed only if asked by Christopher Nolan. In Other words if Nolan had an idea for another movie set in The Dark Knight Universe, then Bale would be on board. Outside of that, it’s not going to happen. Here is what Bale said, beginning with rumors he would show up in another DCEU movie, when he spoke to Screen Rant recently.
“No. No one’s ever mentioned it to me. No one’s brought it up,” Bale said when asked about reprising Batman. “Occasionally people say to me, ‘Oh, I hear you were approached and offered all this.” And I’m like, ‘That’s news to me. No one’s ever said that.’”
“I had a pact with Chris Nolan,” Bale added. “We said, ‘Hey, look. Let’s make three films, if we’re lucky enough to get to do that. And then let’s walk away. Let’s not linger too long.’ In my mind, it would be something if Chris Nolan ever said to himself, ‘You know what, I’ve got another story to tell.’ And if he wished to tell that story with me, I’d be in.”
It’s highly unlikely we will find Chris Nolan directing a Mulitversal Batman film. Therefore I guess this is a dead end, unless Nolan one day gets inspiration for some kind of Old Batman story set in the same Universe. Oh, and by the way Mr. Nolan, I think that sounds like a great idea if that means anything?

I genuinely would love to see more from Bale’s Batman. The Dark Knight trilogy remains my favorite on screen version of the character. I really enjoyed The Batman, don’t get me wrong, but I liked the Nolan movies more. The first two movies, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are up there among my very favorite movies for sure.
