One of the current popular religious drama series is The Chosen.

The biblical series has its upcoming fourth season scheduled for release next year in February as the story follows the disciples involved with Jesus. The current plan is to have the new season episodes in theaters on the big screen on various dates before hitting the streaming platforms at a later date.

However, before the fourth season of The Chosen, there will be a Christmas special with Christmas With The Chosen: Holy Night.

Here is the synopsis of the Christmas special:

A young mother labeled impure. A shepherd boy considered “unclean.” Experience Jesus’ birth through their eyes as Christmas With The Chosen: Holy Night blends The Messengers and The Shepherd into one special remastered and re-scored story. Plus, a never-before-seen performance from Andrea Bocelli highlights seven music performances and two beautiful new monologues. In theaters for a limited time.

Other performers in this Christmas special will include The Bonner Family, Zach Williams, Matt Maher, Brandon Lake, One Voice Children’s Choir, and Joy to the World.

Andrea and Matteo Bocelli will perform “O Holy Night” in French for the film.

Christmas With The Chosen: Holy Night is in theaters through Fathom Events from December 12 through December 17.
