Cobweb | Samuel Bodin and Woody Norman on Things That Go Bump in the Night

Woody Norman in Cobweb

This interview was conducted prior to the SAG-AFTRA declaring an official strike.

There is always something frightful about horror films having creatures lurking in the walls. It’s the mystery of what’s haunting with the sounds and shadows of a faceless adversary. And when that reveal happens, then audiences will gasp at the fright.

Cobweb certainly has the elements of that type of horror film, utilizing a creepy voice, shadows, and sounds. No doubt the creature final is a sight to remember.

The film stars Lizzy Caplan (Mean Girls), Woody Norman, Cleopatra Coleman (The Last Man on Earth), and Antony Starr (The Boys). Samuel Bodin directed the movie from the screenplay written by Chris Thomas Devlin (Texas Chainsaw Massacre).

Here is the official synopsis:

Eight-year-old Peter is plagued by a mysterious, constant tap, tap from inside his bedroom wall—a tapping that his parents insist is all in his imagination. As Peter’s fear intensifies, he believes his parents (Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr) could be hiding a terrible, dangerous secret and question their trust. And for a child, what could be more frightening than that?
