September marks National Suicide Prevention Month to remember all the lives lost to suicide and to help millions struggling with the thoughts. Nadine Crocker’s directorial debut film, Continue, narrates the story of one woman struggling with suicidal thoughts and her fight to stay alive.
Crocker stars in the lead role as Dean, a woman struggling with suicidal thoughts. It also stars Shiloh Fernandez (Red Riding Hood, Evil Dead), Lio Tipton (Crazy, Stupid, Love, Warm Bodies), Kat Foster (Jean-Claude Van Johnson, Your Family or Mine), Annapurna Sriram (Feral, Billions), and Emily Deschanel (Bones, Boogeyman).

Writer-director-star Nadine Crocker’s tour-de-force of confessional filmmaking dissects mental health struggles with the raw authenticity of a true survivor. Convinced she’s fated to walk the same troubled path as her father, Dean (Crocker) suffers a major mental health episode and is committed to a rehabilitation facility. Once confined, Dean shudders through the agonies of recovery, and bravely comes out the other side armed with a defense against the darkness, summed up in one world: Continue.

Nadine Crocker is an actress who has appeared on television in Supergirl, Castle, 10 Things I Hate About You, and Hannah Montana. On the film side, she appeared in movies that included Deadgirl, High School, The Amityville Haunting, and Cabin Fever. Continue marks her directorial debut. She followed up at the helm for an action-thriller titled Desperation Road.
Continue is in select theaters, On Demand, and available digitally on Friday, September 6.
