Cosplay 101: Cosplay Advice From Heroes Con

This past weekend LRM had the honor of attending, Heroes Con, one of the longest running comic book conventions in the United States.  Over it’s 35 year run, Heroes Con has grown from its small convention status with a couple hundred attendees to now being held in the Charlotte Convention Center with thousands attending.  Along with its growth in vendors and artist Heroes Con has also seen a growth in cosplayers attending the convention.  This convention has become a place for novice, and regular, cosplayers to show off their talents.  LRM’s own Cosplay Expert, Dayna Verhey, went to Heroes Con and talked to some fellow cosplayers about why they cosplay and some advice for the fans out their considering cosplaying at their next convention.
