Could Avengers: Endgame Open With RIDICULOUS $800M+ Worldwide Opening?

Avengers: Endgame is going to make some BIG money. Like, obscene, warlord amounts of money. More money than anyone could sufficiently visualize in their heads without having it explode. Make 21 solid movies in a row, when you promise a movie that will tie all things up in a nice little bow, it makes sense that it’d be expected to make a little bit of cheese. The question has always been…how much?

Of course, it’s notoriously difficult — some may say impossible — to accurately predict how much money a movie can make over its lifetime, but that’s never stopped anyone. Well, it looks like Avengers: Endgame will be rolling out worldwide over the course of a few days (as opposed to several weeks, as with most movies), so it’s likely there will be a mammoth push right near the beginning.

With that in mind, Deadline is reporting that the film could be heading to an $840 million worldwide opening, should it perform on par with its predecessor. This is based on their rollout strategy of going worldwide over a short period of time, and they’ve even stated the film isn’t currently tracking domestically, so it’s hard to say for sure. But if its performance is on par with Infinity War, it could make for some enviable headlines of the movie taking in nearly $1 billion after its first weekend.

Do you think it could do that? More specifically, do you think the film will do better or worse than Avengers: Infinity War? Let us know down below!
