Hundreds of people descended to the TCL Chinese Theatre for the Los Angeles premiere of the anticipated boxing movie Creed III.

The third installment of the spin-off Rocky franchise pits the famed boxer Adonis Creed against an old familiar friend Damian Anderson. The drama ensues from both the protagonist and antagonist that leave audiences cheering for both corners of the ring.

The film stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed with Jonathan Majors as Damian Anderson. The rest of the cast includes Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Mila Davis-Kent, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad. Jordan makes his directorial debut with this film.

After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face-off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian—a fighter who has nothing to lose.

Creed III is in theaters and in IMAX this Friday, March 3.
