Crunchyroll Ready To Unleash An Anime Extravaganza At San Diego Comic-Con

As the global popularity of anime continues to soar, fans will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the ultimate anime experience at San Diego Comic-Con. Crunchyroll, a leading anime streaming platform, has announced its lineup of exciting events and exhibits that are set to captivate attendees at this year’s convention.

One of the highlights of the Crunchyroll presence at San Diego Comic-Con is the inaugural Crunchyroll Ultimate Anime Fitness Challenge. Teaming up with Hardcore Fitness in Downtown San Diego, Crunchyroll invites fitness enthusiasts and anime fans to participate in a unique training experience inspired by their favorite anime characters. Led by fitness writer, influencer, and anime enthusiast Charles Thorp, participants can expect accessible fitness routines incorporating weight training, self-defense, and more. Sessions will be held on Friday, July 21st, and Saturday, July 22nd, at 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, exclusively for Crunchyroll subscribers and SDCC badge holders.

On the convention show floor, Crunchyroll will unveil its most advanced booth to date, offering fans a chance to immerse themselves in scenes and sounds from popular anime titles. The JUJUTSU KAISEN Experience will transport visitors into the iconic moments of the series, providing an unforgettable journey into the beloved world of anime. As a token of appreciation, Crunchyroll will distribute Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO wristbands, along with exclusive posters from Solo Leveling and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Fans can also collect art cards from popular series like JUJUTSU KAISEN and My Hero Academia.

To celebrate the rich history of anime and pay tribute to legendary classics and new favorites, Crunchyroll has partnered with the Comic-Con Museum. The museum will feature a statue showcasing the epic battle between All Might and All for One from My Hero Academia, starting Tuesday, July 18th, at 10:00 AM PT. Additionally, in collaboration with Mondo, Crunchyroll will commemorate the 25th anniversary of Cowboy Bebop with an exhibit featuring 28 never-before-seen commissioned art pieces.

Crunchyroll has also scheduled various panels and discussions throughout the convention. One of the highly anticipated events is the Crunchyroll Industry Panel, where attendees can get the inside scoop on the latest and greatest anime releases directly from Crunchyroll. Taking place on Thursday, July 20th, at 3:00 PM PT in Room 6A of the San Diego Convention Center, the panel will be hosted by Crunchyroll representatives Lauren Moore and Tim Lyu.

In addition, the “Amazing! Fantastic! Incredible!” News from the Comic-Con Museum panel, featuring renowned industry professionals such as comic book historian and film producer Michael Uslan, writer and illustrator Colleen Duran, and art historian and curator Kim Munson, among others, will provide insights into the world of comics and pop culture. This panel will take place on Thursday, July 20th, at 10:00 AM PT, with the location to be announced.

For those unable to attend the panels or the convention itself, Crunchyroll will provide daily recaps on its social media channels, including Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Fans can expect exclusive highlights from each day, including panel discussions, cosplay showcases, fan interviews, and collectible features.
