First Look of Eiza González and Aaron Paul in Sci-Fi Thriller Film Ash

Eiza Gonzalez in Ash

After a mysterious space massacre, can a lone survivor trust her rescuer?

In the upcoming sci-fi thriller Ash, Eiza González, and Aaron Paul star in this thriller on a remote station.

Here is the logline of the film:

When a woman (González) wakes up on a distant planet and finds the crew of her space station viciously killed, she must decide if she can trust the man (Paul) sent to rescue her.

The rest of the cast also includes Ikoi Uwais (The Raid), Beulah Koale (Hawaii Five-0), and Kate Elliot (Wentworth).

Flying Lotus, aka Steven Ellison, directed the movie from an original screenplay by Jonni Remmler.

Ellison will make Ash his sophomore directorial film after his 2017’s Kuso debuted at the Sundance Film Festival. He executive produced the Netflix anime series Yasuke about the Black Samurai. Since 2006, he released six studio albums and composed bumper music for Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.

His projects range on the geeky violent side with Kuso and Yasuke. With Ash, there may be plenty of surprises for audiences in the sci-fi thriller. Not to mention Indonesian superstar Iko Uwais is known for plenty of action sequences, so hopefully, we’ll see some death-defying stunts in this film.

For right now, there is no release date set for Ash.
