There is a bit of Barside Buzz that it will be Damian Marcano directing Armor Wars for Marvel Studios. Armor Wars, starring Don Cheadle, is now a movie that began it’s inception as a Disney+ series. We know very little about the series other than it will be about Iron Man tech and stars Cheadle. Rumors are the movie may also feature Ironheart, aka Riri Williams, but just rumors.
An article by TCC points out that IMDb has been updated to list Marcano as director and William Ostroff as his assistant. The update appears to come from Ostroff according to TCC.
The movie now also lists other crew members. Including several writers recently attached to the project for “script continuity and consulting” purposes. These include Beau DeMayo, Malcolm Spellman, Zak Penn and Brian Tucker. The latter three have all worked on projects that previously involved Rhodey in the MCU. Penn hasn’t worked for Marvel Studios since he wrote the first Avengers movie.
However, as always with IMDb, people can update incorrect information. Therefore, this should not be used as any kind of confirmation. These crew additions have yet to be reported anywhere else, even as rumor so far. Also, right now there is a writer’s strike on. I doubt any writers have signed on to this project, even as consultants, unless it was pre-strike.

There’s a lot to doubt about the accuracy of this information for now. However, that’s no slight on TCC. If they had revealed this news as a rumor from their sources, I would have been more inclined to buy it due to their hit rate. I guess the one pro for this may be that the outlet themselves are running it, which might mean they think it’s potentially legit information?

News is sparse just now, so this could just be grasping at straws until he hear more either way.
