Daniel Shemtob of The Lime Truck wants to be the best of the best.

After winning the second season of highly addictive Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race, Shemtob wants to prove that his team can provide the best food amongst all the other winners of this show.

Hailing from Orange County, Calif., he assembled a team comprised of Jessie Brockman and Mark Esposito with Esposito being the new kid on the block. It had been ten years since season two and the show had evolved with more challenges that is much different today.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with the owner of The Lime Truck Daniel Shemtob for its mid-season interview of The Great Food Truck Race: All-Stars. Currently, The Lime Truck is still in the competition and is one of the favorites to win the whole competition.

We discussed about bringing in Mark Esposito into the mix, competing in San Francisco, the difference that ten years made, and their secret to food success.

The Lime Truck uses fresh and sustainable ingredients to create a playful menu for their customers.

Today, the have two physical restaurant locations and their food truck based in Westwood in Los Angeles and Irvine. They serve gluten free and vegan friendly menus with craft beer, specialty bottled win, cocktails to go along with their delectable dishes.

Their food truck services Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, and all the way to Santa Barbara and Palm Springs.

The Great Food Truck Race: All-Stars airs Sundays on the Food Network at 9 p.m. ET/PT and streams on discovery+ the same day.
