Deadline reported yesterday that Daniela Melchior WILL Appear In Guardians 3. If you remember a while ago there was a rumor around that Melchior was playing Moondragon in the Guardians threequel. However James Gunn shot that one down. Melchior was not playing Moondragon true enough. However as reported by the trade, the breakout actor of The Suicide Squad does have a small role in Gunn’s next Marvel movie.
Daniela Melchior will have a small role in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3, we can confirm.
But as director James Gunn confirmed late last year, the actress won’t be appearing as character Moondragon, which had been speculated online.
This is great news, as I loved Melchior in The Suicide Squad and definitely want to see more of her in Gunn movies. Ok, so it may be just a small part, but that’s a potential avenue into the MCU, you just never know?

When Gunn first debunked the Moondragon story I just assumed like many that Melchior was not in the movie. Of course Gunn never lied, he was just very specific about what he debunked. Guardians 3 along with the Holiday Special have wrapped on principal for a few weeks now. I guess we will find out more about Melchior’s small role when Guardians 3 hits theatres next year.
In the meantime, how about some more Ratcatcher 2? I would be happy to see Melchior reprise that role in either Peacemaker Season 2 or the other HBO show Gunn is working on.
