While many fans may have had some choice words for the first season of Marvel and Netflix’s Iron Fist, it seemed to do plenty of business for the streaming giant. Season 2 of the show is on the way, and anticipation of the impending slate of episodes, Marvel Entertainment chief creative officer Joe Quesada shared a new piece of artwork for the film.

Unfortunately, this drawing didn’t come bundled with actual details regarding the next season. All it shows is a pretty standard photo of Danny Rand himself, summoning the Iron Fist and getting ready to throw down. Fans of the comic book character may be disappointed to see that even his costume from the comics is still nowhere to be seen.

Last time we saw Danny Rand, it was at the tail-end of The Defenders. He and the rest had successfully taken a bite out of The Hand, but in true Hand form, we’re sure there’s more to come. That being said, I truly hope this next season has exactly zero to do with The Hand. While a lot of fans do like the villains, based on what we’ve seen so far, it’s too much of a nebulous idea to work on a meaningful level. I’d much prefer they make it more of a personal season — where we can actually grow to LIKE Danny as a character.
