Daredevil: Born Again casts actor Nikki M. James in an undisclosed role for the new Disney+ series. Here is the information as per Deadline, and to be honest right now we don’t know much more.

Nikki M. James (The Book of Mormon) has been cast in Marvel’s upcoming revival series on Disney+, Daredevil: Born Again, Deadline has learned.

Marvel, as per usual declined to comment, which probably means this is 100% accurate. However they don’t wish to discuss it further until the studio are ready. The most important roles in the revival series will go to previously cast characters. In other words, Charlie Cox as Matt, Vincent D’Onofrio as Fisk and so on and so forth. For now we are still waiting to see if Deborah Ann Woll will reprise her role as Karen Page. However it looks like most of the rest of the former cast will return.

There are also various rumors that Kirsten Ritter will show up as Jessica Jones for the first time in the MCU. However as per this story, there are also a lot of new undisclosed roles being cast. Since Daredevil: Born Again has not begun filming yet, leaks are hardly meaningful. Once the show gets going that is when we will likely start to get a few details such as character names and basic plot details.

Previously announced new cast members include Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, and Sandrine Holt. Of those, the only rumor we have is that Gandolfini will play the son of Wilson Fisk. However that is yet to be confirmed in any way.

Filming is set to begin in February on the show and will last for almost all of 2023. That of course is due to Daredevil: Born Again being an 18 episode season as opposed to the usual 5-7 episodes we normally get.
