Daredevil Reboot – Movie Or Show It Seems Like It’s Coming | Barside Buzz

According to the latest Barside Buzz Daredevil: Born Again Part 1 will be nine episodes long with three newly written episodes.

A Daredevil reboot, it’s been in the Barside Buzz since the deal with Netflix exclusivity ran out. There are even rumors that Charlie Cox is in another upcoming MCU movie, as well as Vincent D’Onofrio supposedly being in upcoming Disney+ shows. However up until now there appeared no concrete news on whether we would get a proper Daredevil in the MCU. It looks like we may now have that. Insider Daniel Richtman posted an image of a cropped talent grid. Clearly as you an see below, this is for a project called Daredevil. Check it out.

Language Daniel! Only joking. This seems legit, but as always, take your sodium tablets until confirmed.

You can see from above that unless Richtman has more information than us, we don’t know if this is a Disney+ show or a movie? I think either option could work and it seems highly likely that the actual Netflix shows took place in another part of the Multiverse. That means Marvel are free to change anything they like for a Daredevil movie or show. However the good thing is that if the rumors going around are true, both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will be back as Murdock and Fisk.

Overall, I was not a big fan of the Marvel/Netflix experiment. However I did love all three seasons of Daredevil. I had a few criticism of each and they could have been 1-2 episodes shorter. However overall Daredevil was one of the best modern superhero shows there was. I guess what I am saying is that Marvel Studios won’t have too much work to do to make Daredevil great. Other show’s like Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and even Punisher needed a bit more work for me. Yet, I think most fans would love to see both Jon Bernthal and Kirsten Ritter return to the MCU as Frank Castle and Jessica Jones respectively. I also though Mike Coulter did a good job with Luke Cage, but I really sort of disliked both Luke Cage and Iron Fist. I don’t see any need to rush those back in anyway.

Are you ready for a Daredevil reboot? Do you think Daredevil would work best as a show or a movie? Any thoughts you have on the latest Barside Buzz leave them below as always.
