Finally, the Devil Of Hell’s Kitchen will be making his triumphant return to his streaming home, and it’ll be much sooner than anticipated.
In a new teaser released today, Netflix announced that the third season of Daredevil will premiere Friday, October 19th on its streaming service. This comes just a day after the release of the poster and days after the release of Iron Fist season two release. Featuring our favorite crimson vigilante in the basement of church, the teaser features Murdock himself saying the following:
“You can suffocate evil, starve it, lock it behind bars… But it will find a way to come back even stronger. There’s only one true way to end evil: to finish it for good.”

When we last saw our favorite blind lawyer/masked hero, he was being nursed back to health by nuns in a monastery following his sacrifice in the climactic battle between The Hand and His new “friends” Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Danny Rand in The Defenders. Rumors have been floating around that this season will be loosely based off the graphic novel Born Again, by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli. Judging by the teaser and poster alone, it seems we can count on seeing a Murdock who plans to take a more vicious approach towards the forces of evil that plague his city.
