Daredevil’s New Suit In The MCU – Charlie Cox Has Ideas

Daredevil's New Suit In The MCU - Charlie Cox Has Ideas

Actor Charlie Cox has some ideas about Daredevil’s new suit in the MCU. Daredevil, played by Cox is now canon to the MCU after appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home. It also appears that Cox and D’Onofrio could be locking horns again in the Echo series coming to Disney+. If the rumors are to be believed anyway? At some point we are going to see Charlie Cox in costume again playing the other side of Murdock. When that does happen, how will the suit Daredevil wears be changed? Though I didn’t hate the design from the Daredevil TV series, I also didn’t love it. That seems to be the case for most fans as well.

Cox, speaking recently with ComicBook.com said he has some ideas on what he’d like to see from any new suit that’s designed.

“If there is some new suit or if it does morph or change or it’s redone or whatever, it will be so much more fun for the fans to just have that moment of like, ‘Oh shit, that’s what it is,'” the actor tells us.

“What I would say is I’ve always liked the idea that at some point in Matt’s journey, his emotional journey, and again, I don’t know how everything is happening, or what might happen, and how it ties into what we’ve already done, I have no idea at all. But I’ve always liked the idea that at some point he feels like he has earned the right to have the DD [on his chest, which we’ve never had,” he suggests.

“And one day down the line, I like the idea that he just makes that decision; we get to witness that evolution on screen. That’s just a little idea that I’ve had that I thought would be quite cool.”

Don’t get me wrong, I like that Matt’s suits from the show had real practical input. It was designed for him for a specific purpose. However I also never got the feeling this was the way that suit would remain throughout the entire run. That was of course before the show got cancelled. However with Daredevil Seasons 1-3 hitting Disney+ on March 16th, there really does seem to be nothing stopping Marvel Studios from making a Season 4.

Hey, that’s my hope and probably thousands of Daredevil fans hopes as well, so we shall see?

What would you want to see from Daredevil’s new suit in the MCU? Thoughts below as always.
