it’s been nearly 20 years since the X-Men first hit the big screen, and since then, it has helped shape the current age of superhero movies. Sure, at this point, it does seem like the fandom has fully turned on these movies completely, but I personally don’t think its influence on the industry as a whole can be understated, as it was one of the films that signaled an initial gold rush to comic book properties.

As with its comic book counterparts, one big draw to the franchise has been the assembling of outcasts and their forming of a family. However, with the next film in the franchise, Dark Phoenix, the “family” is getting torn apart thanks to Jean Grey. Whoops.

In a new X-Men celebration video above, we get to see clips from the old films as well as the mark it had on some of the cast members. From there, it segues into this final outing for these X-People, and it’ll hopefully go out on a high note.
