Jessica Jones: Star Krysten Ritter Hops In The Director’s Chair For Season 3 [VIDEO]

Jessica Jones is on the way to the small screen for one final season…well, one final season for the foreseeable future. I’ll admit, that second season really took the wind out of my sails in terms of overall enthusiasm for the show, but with this being the last outing, it may be worth at least giving it a shot, if for nothing else, than to see how they try and close it all out. In addition to all of that, star Krysten Ritter will be hopping in the director’s chair for an episode.

“It’s so exciting for me to direct an episode. I wanted to have the opportunity to grow and challenge myself with my crew and my cast members,” Ritter said in the video. “We’ve had so many amazing directors on our show that have been so generous with me, so I feel like I’ve had many great influences along the way.”

In the nearly three-minute-long featurette from Netflix, we have a chance to see Ritter hard at work bringing an episode of the show to life, which includes at least one stunt featuring Trish, who has seemingly fallen even lower for this third season. As a bonus, you’ll also get to see just how crazy different Ritter is from her more stoic on-screen persona.
